Fees and charges for surgical procedures are explained at the time of the appointment prior to the procedure.

Minimally invasive gynaecological surgery

Minimally invasive (or laparoscopic) surgery is performed through small incisions, instead of large ones. With smaller incisions, recovery time tends to be quicker and patients can expect to experience less discomfort compared to conventional surgery. This type of surgery requires specialised training in laparoscopic techniques.

Please remember to bring your doctor’s referral to your initial gynaecology appointment. This will enable you to obtain a Medicare rebate if you are an Australian resident.

Dr Hanna’s obstetric commitments may necessitate him being called away from the consulting rooms to attend to a patient in the Delivery Suite. When this happens it is sometimes necessary for us to reschedule your appointment.
